Oaks College exists to position students
to lead the way for effective ministry.
Oaks College is an accredited, two-year ministry internship program that provides hands-on leadership and ministry training as you complete a bachelor’s degree.
In Oaks College, you have the unique opportunity through our partnership with
Southwestern Assemblies of God University to receive a high quality education alongside a catalytic internship experience; you get the best of both worlds. You have access to all the benefits of being an on-campus student at SAGU while receiving mentorship, leadership development, and a look at healthy ministry from a department at Oaks Church.
HEALING
OAKS COLLEGE
MINISTRY MODEL
Bringing good news to the afflicted, healing the brokenhearted, proclaiming liberty to captives, setting prisoners free, and comforting those who mourn.
BEING
Oaks College models its education and ministry training after Isaiah 61. This prophetic passage about Jesus emphasizes three aspects of Jesus’ ministry that we desire for all of our students to experience before fulfilling their ministry call.
Jesus gives Kingdom identity to those who’ve experienced his healing, calling them Oaks of righteousness.
DOING
From this deep work of healing and identity, those who have experienced Jesus’ love carry out redemptive ministry work.
